Meet the Team
Delilah
Delilah is an award-winning journalist dedicated to bringing the truth to the forefront. During her journalism career, she realized how vital the truth was and decided to change careers. She founded Survivor Sparks when she realized how few resources there are for fellow rape survivors, especially when it comes to what happens after. She aims to change how we talk about the aftermath of being a rape survivor and to give both opportunities and a safe space for those affected.
In her free time, she loves to write, paint, and binge the dumbest horror movies ever made. She lives with her fiancé and their three silly cats.
She is the Founder and Executive Director.
Christian
Christian is a young professional with many years of management experience. He joined Survivor Sparks here because he's seen the impact this issue can have on those he cares about. He believes that society doesn't have adequate systems in place to support victims who are hurting, and that Survivor Sparks can change that.
In his free time, you can find Christian cooking, watching anime, or making music (all with his cats).
He is the Associate Director.
Carlee
Carlee is a librarian in the Eastern Ohio region who is dedicated to equity and justice. She wants to ensure that everyone at her library, patrons and colleagues alike, feels safe and free to express themselves. As a member of the Survivor Sparks board of directors, she aims to apply the same values and principles towards the creation of a supportive community for survivors.
In her free time, she loves traveling, tapping into her creativity, and cuddling with her two cats. Carlee believes that a strong community not only positively changes the lived experiences of its members but also can change the world for the better.
She is a Founding Board Member.
Emi
Emi is an artsy soul who loves learning new things. She reignited her passion for teaching after taking up tutoring as a job during her studies. Currently, she's juggling university classes and work while also finding time for her friends and hobbies.
She joined Survivor Sparks because she noticed the lack of proper resources and care for survivors. As a member of the board, she further tries to support survivors and help them to the best of her ability. '
In her free time, she loves to play games, create, and watch video essays about her favorite things.
Tatianna (Tat)
Tatianna (Tat) holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Interdisciplinary Health and a Master of Science in Gerontology. She is currently a PhD student whose research focuses on gender-based violence in the queer community and on advancing trauma-informed approaches within institutions.
She joined the board to support the organization’s mission of empowering fellow survivors, strengthening community, and advocating for meaningful systemic change. Tat is excited to contribute both her research perspective and lived experience to Survivor Sparks.
When she’s not researching or volunteering, you’ll usually find her with a good mystery or spending time with her two dogs.
