What Is Survivor Sparks?
Survivor Sparks is a startup nonprofit that provides a safe space for survivors of sexual violence. We are working to provide an exclusive forum for fellow survivors to share their stories, along with community-led art exhibits, educational materials, and more.
Our goal is to create a world where people can feel empowered talking about their story, and to give rape survivors a voice through art and personal expression.
The term, “Survivor Spark,” came from the idea of turning your pain into art, into change, and into making the world a better place. Survivors can do amazing things, and we’re here to prove that.
This was founded in Sept 2025, and while it’s been slow and steady to get started, we’re eager to expand our services!
What Survivor Sparks Stands For:
✍︎ Education
Education is the key to a better world, and we are continually thinking of ways to educate both survivors on how to heal and move to the next step, and the general public on everything about sexual violence and surviving it.
🖌 Art
We work to give sexual violence survivors an outlet for their pain by working with pop-ups to create temporary art installations.
⚢ Community
We are dedicated to providing survivors with a community through access to affordable resources. We want survivors to know: You are not alone.
🕯 Healing
Healing is not a linear process, but it can still occur. Whether it be with our speaker series, the forum, or the Survivor Sparks’ scholarships, we are here to help you with your journey.
